Redwood Software Opens GCC in Hyderabad

Redwood Software opened a 30,000 sq ft global centre in Hyderabad’s HITEC City in April 2026. It anchors product engineering for the company’s AI led workload automation platform, and Redwood plans more than 300 hires across engineering, cloud and business operations by the end of 2027.

Redwood Software is a US company that makes workload automation software, including RunMyJobs, the exclusive SaaS workload automation product that SAP connects directly to its customers’ RISE environments. Redwood serves more than 7,000 customers in over 150 countries and, as of 2024, counted 40% of the Fortune 50 among its clients. The company marked 30 years in business in 2024 and is backed by Vista Equity Partners and Warburg Pincus.

What the centre does

The 30,000 sq ft centre in HITEC City was inaugurated on 22 April 2026 and is designated as Redwood’s primary operational location. It supports full stack engineering, product innovation and global operations, and acts as an innovation hub for AI powered automation and agentic orchestration.

Teams in Hyderabad cover product, research and development, finance, sales operations, data analytics, information security and marketing. Redwood expects more than 300 hires across engineering, cloud and business operations by the end of 2027. Its Ranger AI work and agents that connect enterprise systems such as SAP are stated priorities, and the company has said hiring speed will shape how quickly new releases ship. Company leadership has called Hyderabad its largest office by far. The company names manufacturing, retail, finance and insurance among its target industries.

Why Hyderabad

Redwood’s leadership pointed to the city’s concentration of hyperscaler and enterprise software talent, universities turning out graduates ready for AI work, and a large pool of professionals who have worked on ERP and large IT systems. Executives also said the company could hire at scale on a workable timeline and set up operations with little friction.

What it signals

Naming Hyderabad its primary operational location, and its largest office, ties the centre directly to the product roadmap rather than to support work. Given Redwood’s close ties to SAP, local experience with ERP platforms is a practical fit. Because finance, marketing and security teams also sit in Hyderabad, the centre runs business functions as well as engineering. The 300 hire target is the clearest test of whether the plan holds through 2027.
