isolved Expands Its GCC in Hyderabad

isolved opened a 28,000 sq ft centre in Hyderabad in May 2026, set to become its largest office outside the US. The HR and payroll software company plans to grow its India team to 400 by the end of 2027 across product engineering, AI, platform delivery, payroll processing and tax operations.

isolved is a human capital management software company based in the United States that provides HR, payroll and workforce tools through its People Cloud platform. It began in 1986 as a COBRA benefits provider and now says it serves about 200,000 employers and roughly 9 million employees, mainly small and medium businesses in the US. The Hyderabad office expands an existing India operation.

What the centre does

isolved opened a 28,000 sq ft office at 23 Nordwest in Hyderabad on 19 May 2026, inaugurated by an official from the Telangana government’s investment cell. The company expects it to become its largest office outside the United States.

It plans to grow to 400 people in India by the end of 2027. The site covers product engineering, AI capabilities, platform delivery and back office operations including payroll processing and tax work, along with customer support for its US clients. The work supports isolved’s People Cloud platform, which the company describes as a platform of action linking workforce intent to business results. The company says its India team has 65% gender diversity. It has not disclosed its current India headcount or the investment involved.

Why Hyderabad

isolved has said Hyderabad offers the depth of talent needed to accelerate product development and build its payroll and tax operations. Its India leadership also pointed to the city’s infrastructure, its pool of technology, customer support and implementation talent, and the many HCM companies that have worked there for decades, which gives it people who can contribute quickly.

What it signals

The mix of work stands out. Alongside engineering and AI, isolved is placing payroll processing and tax operations in Hyderabad, so the centre will run live customer processes as well as build product. A target of 400 people by the end of 2027 at one site points to a sustained build rather than a small satellite team. The city’s existing HCM talent should shorten the ramp up, though it also puts isolved in competition with other HCM firms in Hyderabad for the same people.
