InvoiceCloud inaugurated a new floor at its Hyderabad innovation hub in October 2026, growing the space by half to 33,000 sq ft. The company plans to invest INR 350 crore over three years, and its India team of more than 250 is set to reach 300 by the end of 2026, mostly in engineering and product.
InvoiceCloud is a digital billing and payments company based in Boston that serves utilities, government agencies and insurers in the United States. It has more than 3,250 customers and processes over $40 billion in payments a year, and reported more than 500 staff in August 2025. Hyderabad, where it opened in 2024, was its first office outside the US.
What the centre does
In October 2026 InvoiceCloud inaugurated a new floor at its Hyderabad innovation hub, taking the space to 33,000 sq ft, a 50% increase. More than 20 leaders from the US headquarters and the India team attended. The company plans to invest about INR 350 crore over three years in team growth, infrastructure, AI initiatives and product development.
The India team has more than 250 people and is set to reach 300 by the end of 2026, with over 70% in engineering and product roles covering AI, platform engineering and product development. The company says the Hyderabad team took its agentic AI self service tool, Service Module, from development to launch in under six months, and that per engineer productivity rose 120% year on year, largely through AI tools. In March 2026 it had announced plans to hire 150 technology and product professionals in the city, after onboarding more than 170 the year before.
Why Hyderabad
When it opened in 2024, InvoiceCloud said Hyderabad had exceptional technical talent and leadership that fit its long term goals. Its chief executive has since said the city is becoming a larger part of how the company builds for customers because of the results the team has delivered.
What it signals
The reasons InvoiceCloud gives for expanding are specific: delivery speed and engineer productivity. With more than 250 people in Hyderabad and over 70% of them in engineering and product roles, a meaningful part of the platform’s development now appears to run from India within two years of opening. Committing INR 350 crore over three years signals that the company expects to keep adding AI and product work there, which points to a hub that is becoming central to its roadmap rather than an extension of US teams.
