Generac Holdings, the US-based energy technology and power solutions company, has opened its first Global Capability Centre in India, choosing Pune for a hub to support its global operations.
The centre will bring together talent across engineering, digital technologies, product development, analytics and enterprise support, with a focus on product engineering, digital transformation, data analytics, software innovation, enterprise operations and R&D.
The India launch comes as Generac expands globally on the back of surging demand for backup power from data centres and other critical industries, which has driven the company to scale up capacity and raise its 2026 sales guidance.
Pune adds to its standing as a destination for multinational GCCs, alongside its base in engineering services, manufacturing innovation and software development.
