Adewunmi will also keep leading Cummins’ global Industrial Markets business.
Cummins India Limited has named Gbile Adewunmi Managing Director and India Regional Leader, effective November 1. The company announced the appointment from Pune on October 8.
Adewunmi is currently Vice President, Power Systems Industrial Markets at Cummins. He will take on the India role in addition to his current responsibilities and will continue to lead the Industrial Markets line of business.
Jenny Bush, President of Power Systems, said he is well placed to lead Cummins India Limited and the India region while continuing to advance the company’s Industrial Markets strategy.
“India is a critical market for Cummins,” Adewunmi said.
