Where Mumbai stands
Mumbai takes a smaller slice of India’s overall GCC leasing than Bengaluru or Hyderabad, but it leads for banking and financial services centres thanks to its deep financial ecosystem. Under Maharashtra’s GCC Policy 2025, centres in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region can claim 40% of salary costs above ₹1 lakh for three years.
