PepsiCo makes snacks such as Lay's and Kurkure in India and sells beverages bottled largely by its franchise partner Varun Beverages. It is expanding food and beverage manufacturing and supply chain capacity in the country.

Ownership and structure

PepsiCo runs its Indian foods and concentrate business through its own India unit. Bottling, sales and distribution of its beverages across most of the country are franchised to Varun Beverages, which took over the South and West regions in 2019.
