ITOCHU India Private Limited was incorporated in February 2006 with its registered office at DLF Cyber City in Gurugram. The ITOCHU Group has run a logistics business in India since 2009 through an alliance with Parekh Integrated Services.
In 2011 ITOCHU and Parekh formed a 50:50 logistics joint venture headquartered in Gurugram. ITOCHU has acquired a stake in Aegis Terminal (Pipavav), which operates an ammonia storage terminal at Port Pipavav in Gujarat with a capacity of about 36,000 tonnes.
