Honda Cars India is the passenger car business of Honda Motor Company in India. It builds cars at its plant at Tapukara in Rajasthan's Alwar district, while its Greater Noida campus houses corporate functions.
Ownership and structure
Honda Cars India Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda Motor Co. It became fully owned in 2012 when Usha International sold its remaining stake in the original joint venture.

Honda Cars India's India business
The company began in 1995 as the joint venture Honda Siel Cars India and was renamed Honda Cars India in September 2012. The Greater Noida plant, set up on 150 acres with capacity of 100,000 cars a year, stopped vehicle manufacturing in December 2020.
All car production was consolidated at the Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, which started production in 2014.
