Fujitsu runs its India Global Delivery Unit through Fujitsu Consulting India, which provides software engineering, cloud and digital transformation services to Fujitsu clients worldwide. The group also operates Fujitsu Research of India in Bengaluru and sells IT solutions locally through Fujitsu Solutions India.

In May 2006 Fujitsu Consulting announced a US$20 million investment in a new Hyderabad centre and the expansion of its Pune and Noida development centres.
Fujitsu's India business
Fujitsu Consulting India was established in 2001. Fujitsu Consulting India employs more than 9,000 people.
Fujitsu Research of India was set up in April 2022 and employs about 375 researchers in AI, quantum computing and networking. Its delivery centres are located in Pune, Noida, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai.

- 2006: Fujitsu Consulting acquired Rapidigm India in March, gaining development centres in Pune and Noida.
