EY India has launched Cyber Performance Management, an AI driven platform that quantifies cyber risk in financial terms and gives enterprises a single window to analyse, measure and govern their exposure in real time.
The firm describes CPM as the first integrated cyber platform developed by a professional services firm. Announced in New Delhi on 9 July, the platform combines AI and cybersecurity in one system while maintaining data sovereignty and operational control. Its core function is decision intelligence: showing organisations what is exploitable, how attacks could chain across systems, where business risk sits and where the financial impact will land.
The performance claims are specific. EY says clients have reported a 45 to 60 per cent reduction in alert noise, 30 to 50 per cent faster response times and a 50 to 65 per cent improvement in analyst efficiency, alongside a 30 to 50 per cent reduction in mean time to respond. The platform integrates with more than 50 security tools, and EY says organisations consolidating five to eight disparate tools onto CPM are cutting total cost of ownership by 45 to 55 per cent while reaching up to 90 per cent regulatory audit readiness.
“As cyber risk grows in scale and AI reshapes the business landscape, organisations need an approach that goes beyond fragmented tools and siloed decision making,” said Rohan Sachdev, Partner and Consulting Leader, EY India. “EY Cyber Performance Management is designed to address this market gap by bringing together enterprise grade AI, integrated visibility and risk quantification in a unified platform. It enables organisations to translate cyber exposure into clear business outcomes, empowering CXOs to prioritise decisively, act with speed and build resilient, future ready organizations.”
The launch reflects a shift in how cyber risk is being framed at board level: less as a technology problem, more as a financial and regulatory one.
“Today cyber risk has evolved into a critical business issue with the potential to escalate in hours across systems,” said Murali Rao, Partner and Cyber Leader, EY India. “Many organizations still lack clear, real time visibility into what they are exposed to and how quickly that exposure can translate into impact. These gaps are increasingly resulting in tangible financial and regulatory consequences. CPM addresses this challenge by bringing clarity and financial context to cyber risk, enabling defenders, board and regulators to take timely, informed and defensible decisions before threats turn into losses.”
EY says the platform offers flexible deployment options and works with existing systems, positioning it for adoption across a wide range of enterprise environments while supporting compliance and regulatory requirements.
