HealthEdge Opens 1,500 Seat Campus in Thiruvananthapuram

HealthEdge has opened a new campus at Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram, taking about 162,000 square feet across 11 of the 12 floors of the Brigade Square building. The campus opened on 20 August 2026 and can seat about 1,500 people across engineering, product development, technology, client services and corporate teams.

HealthEdge builds software and technology enabled services for American health plans. Its products cover claims administration, payment accuracy, care management, risk adjustment and provider data management, and the company says its platforms touch more than 110 million covered lives. The Boston based firm is owned by Bain Capital, which combined it with UST HealthProof in September 2025 and brought both under the HealthEdge name. Kevin Adams, formerly chief executive of UST HealthProof, leads the combined company.

What the centre will do

The campus will house engineering, product development, technology, operations and client services teams working for the company’s US health plan customers. The company has said it is recruiting in India as well as in the United States, the Philippines and Mexico. The campus was opened by the special secretary of the Kerala electronics and IT department, with the chief executive of Technopark present.

Why Thiruvananthapuram

The choice of Thiruvananthapuram comes from the merger. UST HealthProof grew out of UST, a technology services firm with deep roots in the city, and it had a long standing presence in Kerala before joining HealthEdge. The new campus moves that workforce into a single large site under one brand. Technopark offers ready office stock, a local engineering talent pool and lower costs than the bigger southern metros.

HealthEdge’s India footprint

HealthEdge now works from seven Indian cities: Chennai, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala is where its legacy UST HealthProof presence was strongest, and the new campus marks the transition of that team to the HealthEdge name.

What it signals

Private equity owners are increasingly building scale in India for the healthcare software companies they back. A 1,500 seat campus in a tier two city shows that once a large team exists, companies will invest where it already sits rather than move it to Bengaluru or Hyderabad.
