Takeda holds its India business through Takeda Biopharmaceuticals India Private Limited, a subsidiary of a foreign company incorporated in April 2015 as Baxalta India and consolidated under the Takeda name in 2022.

Takeda's India business
Takeda Biopharmaceuticals India, formerly Baxalta Bioscience India, has its registered office at DLF Cyber City in Gurugram. The Bengaluru Innovation Capability Centre opened in January 2025 with 275 professionals and a target of about 750 people by the end of 2025.
