NVIDIA, Siemens, Cadence, and Synopsys are collaborating with major Indian manufacturers to accelerate AI-powered factory design, industrial automation, and digital twin adoption.
NVIDIA is expanding partnerships across India’s manufacturing and industrial technology sectors as the country accelerates investments in AI-driven factories, industrial automation, and software-defined manufacturing infrastructure.
The company announced collaborations involving Indian manufacturers and global industrial software firms including Siemens, Cadence Design Systems, and Synopsys during the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi.
India is currently investing around $134 billion in new manufacturing capacity across sectors including automotive, renewable energy, construction, and robotics, according to NVIDIA.
The partnerships focus on integrating NVIDIA AI infrastructure, CUDA-X acceleration technologies, Omniverse libraries, robotics platforms, and digital twin capabilities into industrial design, manufacturing operations, and infrastructure planning.
Reliance Industries’ clean energy arm, Reliance New Energy, is expanding collaboration with NVIDIA and Siemens to integrate digital twin technologies and AI-driven simulation tools into next-generation gigafactory development.
The companies said the collaboration is intended to improve plant design accuracy and simulation efficiency as India scales domestic clean energy and industrial manufacturing capacity.
Addverb Technologies is using Siemens’ Technomatix software alongside NVIDIA Omniverse and Cosmos AI models to create digital twins and train quadruped and humanoid robots in simulated environments.
Meanwhile, Hero MotoCorp is deploying Siemens Xcelerator software and NVIDIA infrastructure to accelerate engineering simulations, virtual testing, and product development processes.
The partnerships reflect growing adoption of AI-powered industrial software and simulation technologies in India as manufacturers increasingly digitize operations, supply chains, and production workflows.
In the semiconductor and electronics sectors, Indian companies are also adopting AI-accelerated design tools from Cadence and Synopsys.
Havells India Limited is using Synopsys’ Ansys Fluent software powered by NVIDIA CUDA-X technologies to improve fluid dynamics simulations. According to the company, the deployment has enabled six-times faster simulation performance, helping optimize airflow and energy efficiency while reducing product development timelines.
Larsen & Toubro Semiconductor is using Cadence Spectre X accelerated by NVIDIA GPU infrastructure to shorten AI chip design iteration cycles.
India’s IT and engineering services sector is also increasing investments in industrial AI and physical AI systems as global enterprises adopt automation and intelligent infrastructure technologies.
Tata Consultancy Services is deploying NVIDIA Metropolis, Omniverse-based digital twins, and AI video analytics systems at Tata Motors facilities to support automated quality checks and real-time safety monitoring.
TCS is also implementing autonomous robotic inspection systems using quadruped robots across manufacturing operations.
Wipro PARI is integrating NVIDIA AI infrastructure, Omniverse libraries, and the NVIDIA Isaac robotics platform to support industrial automation and robotic workflow simulation for automotive and consumer-sector customers.
In infrastructure engineering, Tata Consulting Engineers is launching its Cognitive Twin platform built on NVIDIA Omniverse to create real-time industrial simulations across manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Pilot projects are currently underway with National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited, Torrent Power, and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.
The collaborations highlight how global AI infrastructure providers are increasingly positioning India as a strategic manufacturing and industrial AI market, particularly as the country pushes to expand domestic production capacity, smart factories, robotics, semiconductor design, and industrial automation.
